It is a well-known fact that Dr. Laura is mean and crazy, but she did something on her radio show the other day that was kind of noteworthy. She read an email from a family who's son, a soldier in Iraq, lost his legs in a roadside bombing. They didn't ask for money to help with the medical bill, they only asked people to send their son a birthday card as his special day is approaching.
Our soldiers deserve our respect, if not our kindness. He of all people could use a few words of understanding and gratitude for his sacrifice, and that's why I (rach) wrote Daniel a letter. It would be cool if you would too.
